Determining Weakness

Any good poker player knows that every opponent has a weakness of some sort. Granted there are many excellent players, some of which of course display more weakness in others, but every player, without exception, has some weakness, somewhere. The trick is being able to pinpoint that weakness.

Contrary to what you may be led to believe by watching some of the tournaments on ESPN, there is no such thing as a complete poker player. You need to be able to uncover the weakness(es) of your opponents and exploit them so that you have control.

Unfortunately, there is no school on pinpointing weakness,....only through experience will you be able to hone in on these skills and put them to good use. One your able to look at the players sitting down around you and say "Bill's a passive guy that calls way to often on the fifth street", or "Mark is an aggressive, yet solid opponent, so be careful of him", etc...once your able to label your opponents in your heads by observing their style of play, you can now put your skills of exploiting your opponent's weaknesses to good use.
